3 times

She had to go out three times last night. At this time, I would like everyone to know that I slept through my first night here. I was never this whiney either. I did, however, take out a case or two of toilet paper.

Puppy, day 2

Well the puppy is still here. I'm teaching her to play tug of war, and Mike and I are teaching her how to patrol the perimeter of our property. That's an important job, so it pays to start 'em early.

She does NOT like her crate. Boy oh boy is she ever mouthy about that. I like my crate, I don't see what the big deal is.

A nasty shock

Well, we have had a big day here. I knew, of course, that I was getting a little sister. We went and visited her a while back. Apparently I missed a memo or something, because what I didn't know was she was going to LIVE HERE. Don't get me wrong, I think I can make this work. She's pretty cute. She's kind of small compared to me though, I hope she's tough!

We have homework

Monday morning we had another obedience check-up. We need to work on straight fronts some more, continue attention with heeling to the left (the easy side). Also, Mom's supposed to ignore me from now on when I wave, I'm supposed to sit quietly for praise instead. Same thing when I meet new people. Yeah like that's gonna work.

No toilet paper available recently to chew up. I made do with (1) an almost full box of Kleenex, (2) the knob off a lamp, (3) 3 rawhide chew flips, (4) some laundry from the basket, and (5) mom's last remaining unchewed comb.

PS. Mom says I also have to report that I chewed up two of her hats as well. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to play with those, so I don't think they should count.

Springtime!

A few days ago, all you humans were listening to some groundhog's opinion about when spring is coming. A groundhog has brain the size of what...a lima bean maybe. Let me tell you, spring is most definitely here! Mom had to mow the lawn for me today, and as is a lawn-mowing tradition around here, I got to play in my pool! What a nice day!

Wanna play?

I got it!

Wet, smelly, and happy.
